MARÍA FRANCISCA TEMBOURY
María Francisca Temboury Alcázar was born in Malaga in 1925. In which she studied at the School of Fine Arts and in the studio of Emilia Ocón. Afterwards moved to Madrid where she made in the studio of Paco Viñuela and the "Círculo de Bellas Artes".
She settled in Olmeda was one of the painters attracted by the beauty of our town in the sixties more specifically in 1969. Decade in which there was a large atendance of artists such as Álvaro Delgado or Luis García Ochoa moved to Olmeda attracted by climate, landscape, white houses and the tranquility of the environment. She herself said "The town has a special flavor"
Married with Enrique Mapelli, legal advisor for the Iberia airline. She met the municipality through Alberto Moreno co-worker of Mapelli.
She is part of the group of painters and artists who settled in our town and which led to it being known today as "Olmeda de los painters" or "the town of artists".
She lived and set up her studio in Olmeda for some years on Street of the Church19, where she worked. She says in "wonderful conditions".
She has made numerous individual and group exhibitions. She work is disseminated in private collections in Argentina, Ireland, Denmark and other countries. Stand out two large murals at Malaga airport.
He died in Madrid on December 28, 2018.
